  1. It's my very own Custom Imperial (replace Pete's almond doors with my avocado).! I wondered if anyone else seized up at that shot. Thanks for posting.:)

  2. Yummy! I haven't been able to watch the newest episode yet but I'm hoping that's Pete and Trudy's new kitchen?

  3. Yes, I did, among many other things- mod lamps, typewriters, Don & Megan's living room and everything in it, and of course, "Zou bisou bisou!"

  4. Yes we noticed it! We have one in our home and use it daily. Love the hide-a-way range top burners too.

  6. Cool! I recently picked up 20 issues of The Saturday Evening Post from the 1950s, I'm having a blast looking at all the ads. Tons of appliance and flooring ads. Have you ever seen a wall mounted refrigerator? New to me! I gotta start checking out Mad Men, haven't seen it. I have an issue of Life from 1961 with an extensive article on the advertisement industry. It's been tucked away and my husband found it the other day while cleaning/organizing. I only stumbled across this ACM Mad Men show when looking for vintage dishware (people referring to "Mad Men", so it was a neat coincidence. Like your blog!

    2. Yes! The one in the ad is turquoise. I'm thinking about scanning a bunch of these old ads and sticking/sharing them on my blog. Gosh, wish I had the (60s) pink fridge, washer and dryer we had growing up! (Oh and, your house numbers sign is sooooo neat!) Evie

  9. This was the same model of Frigidaire Flair Custom Imperial used on the 3rd-6th season of Bewitched in the pale yellow colour (Season 1 and Season 2 each had earlier models). General Motors (Frigidaire's corporate owner) was a sponsor of Bewitched for Season 1 - 4 and each year placed current-year models of the appliances (Fridge/dishwashers, etc), in addition to the Chevrolets. Likely because the sponsorhip deal ended, the Flair had a piece of white tape over the name Frigidaire in Seasons 5 & 6 until it was replaced when the set was rebuilt.
