Cats and Dogs

I haven't posted much about our pets, but just so you know the Uncle isn't a slacker in the pet collecting department, here's a rundown of the current four-legged residents at the Atom crib.  We'll go in order of seniority:

Thomas, age 12 (also known as Tommy Tutone, and known to the local  bird and mouse population as the Scourge of Downing Street)

Hank, age 12 (aka Hankie, Hankums, Uncle Grampa, Pappy, Snuffie)

Patches, age ~4 (aka Patchelina, Miscongeniality, and Leona Helmsly)

Lucy Ricardo, age 2 (aka Lucille, Lucy Fur, Monkeycita)

  1. There's nothing like a pup who can play the piano, I always say. Do your cats actually sit on your furniture and not scratch it to pieces? My cat took a course called "How To Identify Vintage Furniture" and decided that, since it's so well made and all, it's the best stuff to use as a scratching post. Love your crew, dude.

  2. Actually, the cats pretty much leave the furniture alone, but when she was a puppy, Lucy chewed up a chunk of my sofa. It still needs repair, I just haven't figured out how to make it look better and not worse.

  3. Wow! You have a managerie. I like the piano playing corgie. It remaind me of a line from Mad Men, in regards to Peggy actually coming up with a line of copy for an ad. "Its amazing, its like watching a dog play the piano" -Freddy Rumsen

  4. What cute pets you have. =)
I have a 7 year old boxer, two parrotlets, a Holland lop rabbit named patches & two betta fish.
